Traumatic Experience of Military Action as a Factor of Deviant Behavior
Abstract
The purpose article is devoted to the study of the traumatic experience of military operations as a factor of deviant behavior. The methodological basis of the article was made up of scientific concepts for studying the military experience of different countries in working with combatants. The features of the influence of stressful situations on the individual are considered. The role of social factors in the formation of illegal behavior in military personnel is revealed. Depending on this, the main reactions to stressful situations, their forms and manifestations are determined. The forms of manifestation of delinquent behavior in the conditions of military service are analyzed. The destructive influence on the personality of psycho-traumatic factors of military operations in the East of Ukraine, the result of which is the development of negative mental states, is considered. The relationship of addictive behavior and post-traumatic stress disorder in combatants is determined. The deviations of the military personnel are considered due to the influence of cultural and organizational conditions of the military organization and elements of professional activity. The negative impact of traumatic experience on the personality of a combatant is determined. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the generalization and systematization of research results in dealing with manifestations of delinquent behavior in victims of armed conflict. Deviations containing manifestations of aggressiveness, as well as ethnocultural deviations, which are based on the inadequacy of ethnic expositions, also characteristic of deviant behavior of military personnel. Conclusion. A number of practical recommendations have been identified that can be effective in dealing with manifestations of deviant behavior among combatants. The effectiveness of the approaches used in working with manifestations of addictive behavior in military personnel is substantiated. Methods of preventing manifestations of deviant behavior and its types in the conditions of military service are determined.
