Determinants of Forming of Civil Consciousness of Electors

Abstract

The purpose article the presented results of generalization of scientific looks in relation to determinants of forming of civil consciousness of electors. A methodological tool is presented by totality of theoretical (analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization) methods. The theoretical basis of the study is the work of leading domestic and foreign scientists – psychologists, lawyers, political scientists, sociologists. Scientific novelty. An author defined the factors of structuralness of civil position of person and gave a concept «civilness» as integral properties of personality. Fundamental positions of process of forming of civil consciousness were reasonable: providing of rights and freedoms of citizens due to a line-up in society, that provides the just political system and assists to development of personality; flexible and practical system of social support, rule of the use that advantageous for the observance of codes of conduct; it reduces or quite neutralizes tension between the different layers of population; high level of folk menage and him progressive organization that is sent to material welfare of all members of society and allows to perfect facilities of realization of this process. Next values are certain as general determinants of forming of civil consciousness of electors; it represents interests of society due to the presence of the already formed social intercommunications of personality: spiritually-moral (respect to the human rights on all levels, tolerance is to any differences of members of society); psychological (a high capacity is for understanding itself, controlled emotional experiencing and evaluation of critical evaluation of present time); mental (public piety, goodwill, high domestic culture of relations, mutual help, anxiety, solidarity, understanding) and ethical; national (patriotism, participating in state administration, sense of justice, civil consciousness, civil responsibility, civil activity); social harmony (happiness of every citizen as synonym of public benefit, creation and high level of efficiency of functioning of key social spheres); scientific (development of civilization is on all levels, humanizing of state and international relations, decline of general hostility both at domestic social level and in a worldwide policy). Conclusions. An author grounded, that forming of civil consciousness is a difficult process of realization personality itself not only as a citizen but also as an elector. Taking part in the election is a scale socio-political event, when majority of citizens have the opportunity to express the social activity. Except that, an atmosphere of elections is a unique moment, when society feels and actively influences on quality of the rights, freedoms and duties.
