In addition, the complexity and specificity of the investigation of rape is the need of a detailed study not only of the circumstances of the event and the victim, as in other cases, but varied the circumstances of their personal life, including intimate. The investigation process is complicated by the fact that the victim does not wish to discuss with third parties the details of the incident, to repeatedly reproduce the psychotraumatic situation, to participate in judicial examination of criminal acts and generally to disclose the fact of rape in its social environment (friends, acquaintances, work colleagues, relatives). But negative emotions, her behavior are driven by the dependency relationships (family, material, professional, etc.) and mechanisms of psychological protection, which prevents the establishment of relations of cooperation between her and the investigator.
