Abstract

The article reveals the content of psychological adaptation it of law enforcement officers to public order protection activity. Examines the main approaches to the study of problems of professional adaptation of employees to the protection of public order, analyzes factors that can help in optimizeing the fixtures of employees to conditions of work, highlights the importance of police officers psychological readiness to ensure the protection of public order. The analysis of theoretical materials allows to establish that police officer adaptation is a complex and long process of adaptation to new conditions. During the implementation of the adaptation process it is important to improve the use of an employees knowledge and capabilities in extreme situations of professional activity, which includes professionalpsychological preparation. Law enforcement officers while ensuring the protection of public order are constantly exposed to danger and it is important that they know how to find the right way out of extreme situations. Accordingly, it is concluded that police officers professional psychological readiness to protect public order is an important component of successful adaptation. Summarizing the materials of the study it can be considered that an important component of successful adaptation to the protection of public order is the relevant professionalpsychological preparation since the presence of this factor creates psychological readiness to activities in extreme conditions during the official duties, which is the highest highlight of professional adaptation to the protection of public order.
